Dr Francisca Da Gama has a background in Latin American studies and gained her PhD from the University of Auckland, New Zealand. She previously taught at Massey University (New Zealand) before moving to London in 2002 and taught Latin American Studies at Goldsmiths College 2005-08. She also trained in second language and literacy teaching, which she taught in FE and in 2014 gained an MSc in Psychology of Education at the Institute of Education (UCL).
