Dr Kim Bui
Senior Lecturer in International Business
Dr Kim Bui joined the University of Greenwich in September 2019. She holds her PhD in Finance and International Management from the School of Oriental and African Studies, University of London (SOAS) where her research was focused on cross-border mergers & acquisitions by Chinese State Owned Enterprises. She had previously gained an MSc in International Management (China) from SOAS with a Distinction. She also holds a BSc in Biomedical Sciences from Royal Holloway, University on London.
Responsibilities within the university
At the Çï¿ûÊÓƵ Kim is the Deputy Programme Leader for the International Business undergraduate provision. Additionally, she is the module leader for International Business Environment, and Global Integrative Project 2.
Research / Scholarly interests
Kim's research is primarily focused on the Chinese economy, such research activities involves outbound foreign direct investment led by Chinese State-Owned Enterprises. Her current research also involves the institutional perspective and the Chinese political economy.
