Jill Harrison
Associate Professor and Programme Leader for Early Years
Jill Harrison is an Associate Professor and Programme Leader for Early Years in the School of Education at the Çï¿ûÊÓƵ.
Since joining the Çï¿ûÊÓƵ, she leads on the BA Hons Early Years and Early Years Initial Teacher Training (ITT) course, as well as Link Tutor for the Early Years programme that our partners in SEGi College Malaysia deliver.

- 1980-93, Held a variety of posts; in social service nurseries; a hospital nursery; as a private nanny; and maternity nurse.

Research / Scholarly interests
Jill is currently researching on the Early Years professional role and how well prepared nursery practitioners are for the level of work they are asked to do. This study will review qualifications and how staff are supported both here and in Malaysia.
