Marion Kemp Bsc Hons, MA

Senior Lecturer

Marion is a part-time Senior Lecturer in the School of Education where she has worked since 2002.

Marion has taught Mathematics for the last 30 years in London Secondary Schools. She is an associate of NCETM (National Centre for Excellence in Mathematics) and a mamber of ATM.

Marion used to work as a full-time PGCE tutor for Computer Science in conjunction with a school mentor. She also organised and ran Student Associate Scheme, worked closely with her colleagues from Early Years to develop EYFS course and did a lot of outreach with Widening Participation team.

Responsibilities within the university

  • Organise and Administer the SKE Mathematics courses and the face to face course. 
  • Teach, mark assignments, observe students on placement and supporting the Secondary Maths Course Tutor.
  • Interviewing prospective applicants.
