Climb a double decker bus to have an adventure around London's entrepreneurial eco-system and hear from great speakers.
Venture Crawl was founded by King’s College London in 2017 and is a day trip where students from different universities tour businesses on a London bus. The event is an exploration of entrepreneurial ecosystems where students are invited to immerse themselves in the world of entrepreneurship and innovation and be inspired by the stories of real entrepreneurs and founders ending in an inter-university pitch competition hosted by Kings College London. The Generator takes part every year and it’s one of the most popular events among students with tickets selling out within hours of going live.
Throughout the day students meet business leaders, employees and other students while having the opportunity to ask questions, network and gain a deeper understanding of how these businesses work on a day-to-day basis. It’s also a great opportunity for us to collaborate with local businesses and build ongoing partnerships that benefit them and our students.
The businesses often give students guided tours of their warehouses or premises with in-depth talks on their business model, revenue streams and key takeaways from their business journey. International Business, BA Hons student Ishan Thakkar said of the event “Venture Crawl 2024 surpassed all my expectations, offering a rich blend of learning and connection. The visit to Meta’s office was a standout, providing valuable insights into leveraging their platform for business. I also had the pleasure of forging new friendships with students from partnered universities like Goldsmiths, enhancing the overall experience.”
