Office 365

Office 365 is a cloud hosted service provided by Microsoft. It allows University staff and students the ability to create, edit, manage and even collaborate on the popular Microsoft Office products through a browser based interface, rather than relying upon locally installed software.

As a member of staff or a student at the Çï¿ûÊÓƵ, you can download for free Microsoft Office 365 Pro Plus for PC or Mac. You can also run Office Mobile for Android, iOS or Windows Phone OS. You are restricted to a total of five PCs or Laptops and five devices mobile devices. You will be licensed for the duration of your employment (staff) or study (student) at the university.

Features and Benefits

  • Mobile applications - Applications for mobile devices running iOS, Android and Windows Phone are available.
  • Web browser access -  Files and folders are easily accessible via the applications button within Office 365, and enables users to upload/download files and also to edit Office documents online within the web browser. You can also work collaboratively on documents with colleagues at the same time.
  • Install Microsoft Office locally on personal Windows or Mac OSX devices
  • 1Tb of online storage space (please see Data Classification Policy, below)
