New Staff Welcome and Induction with Senior Leaders

Our is an essential activity for all new staff members and has been designed to positively orientate you, so you can be successful at the university.

The New Staff Welcome and induction complements local induction arrangements by your faculty/directorate. Our aim is to ensure you:

  • Are welcomed and effectively supported into the university, including understanding more about its ambitions, values and environment;
  • Know more about and meet our key leaders. This is an important aspect as we believe it's important we learn from you as well as providing an opportunity for leaders to share their experiences with you;
  • Are able to develop an understanding of your role and how the university can support you to be successful
