We are committed to our students’ success and progression to postgraduate study and are investing significant financial resources in addressing the cost of living crisis for students wishing to continue their studies with a master’s degree. As part of this commitment, we are offering £3,000 fee waiver bursaries to current Greenwich undergraduate students and Alumni to help you ‘Power Up’ your future and reach your potential through postgraduate study.
Am I eligible?
You will be offered the Greenwich Progression Bursary shortly after submission of your postgraduate application provided you satisfy the below criteria:
- You are a current final year Undergraduate student (predicted to achieve a 2:2 degree classification or higher) applying for a postgraduate taught (PGT) course.
- Or you are a graduate of the Çï¿ûÊÓƵ with a 2:2 undergraduate degree classification or higher, applying for a postgraduate taught (PGT) course.
- You are holding an offer on an available Postgraduate taught course for September 2025 entry.
- You are assessed to pay fees at the home rate and will be studying at Greenwich, Avery Hill or Medway Campus (except Medway School of Pharmacy) or one of our Partner Colleges, where your tuition fee is paid directly to us.
The bursary is only available to students starting a Postgraduate taught course with available places in September 2025. It will be applied to part-time students on a pro-rata basis. The course should be completed with no gaps in study to retain the full bursary amount.
PHD / Postgraduate Research courses are not eligible for this bursary.
How to Apply
You do not need to apply for the Greenwich Progression Bursary
This bursary is assessed and awarded automatically by the Student Fees and Funding Team.
All applicants will be contacted to advise on an offer of a place to study on the course, and the outcome of the bursary award, as soon as possible. The bursary will be allocated on a first come first serve basis. To be eligible for the Greenwich Progression Bursary, you must have applied for a postgraduate programme before midnight on Friday the 29th August 2025. Any applications received after this date will be subject to a wait list, and no guarantees will be made regarding further awards after this date.
