Project aim
The primary goal was to identify and engage distinguished alumni for the Çï¿ûÊÓƵ’s Honorary Degree Award Ceremony.
Project outline
As part of my final year dissertation for a 30-credit module, I undertook a work placement at the Çï¿ûÊÓƵ Alumni Department.
During this placement, I developed a web scraper and an optimisation model to automate and enhance the selection process, leveraging my background in Mathematics and Computer Science.
The project received positive feedback from my supervisor and senior management, who were particularly impressed with my ability to implement coding skills to improve the efficiency and accuracy of the selection process.
