GOLD (Greenwich Opportunities in Learning and Development) awards professional recognition for those supporting, delivering, or leading in learning and teaching
GOLD is an experience-based route that provides international professional recognition in teaching and learning in higher education. Our scheme is accredited by and awards different categories of fellowship. Recognised by HESA as a teaching qualification, GOLD offers a flexible route to professional recognition for all academic and professional services staff in higher education.
Our GOLD scheme is eligible for employees at the Çï¿ûÊÓƵ and colleagues at our partner institutions only.
Our GOLD scheme is now transitioning to using the new 2023 Professional Standards Framework (PSF 2023)
From the start of the 2024-25 academic year, our GOLD scheme will be introducing the new PSF 2023 from Advance HE. During this academic year we will be slowly transitioning over to fully using this.
For any new candidates that enrol onto our GOLD scheme from 1 September, you will be required to use the new PSF 2023.
Any existing or candidates that enrol up until 31 August, you will continue to the UKPSF 2011 until your Registration of Intent (ROI) expires.
