HR Excellence in Research
The university has been successful in gaining the European Commission's accreditation, demonstrating its commitment to improving the working conditions and career development of researchers. The basis for this accreditation is based on regular critical reviews of progress that direct its future activities, expressed in a two-year action plan. Overall responsibility for working towards compliance with the Concordat rests with the Research and Enterprise Training Institute, Greenwich Research and Enterprise, the work of which is supported by other groups. This Action Plan will be updated periodically to inform on progress in working towards full compliance.
Researcher Development Concordat
Çï¿ûÊÓƵ has signed up to the revised Concordat to Support the Career Development of Researchers 2019', commonly known as the Researcher Development Concordat. This is an agreement between to improve the employment and support for researchers and researcher careers in higher education in the UK.
It sets out three clear of environment and culture, employment, and professional and career development. The principles are underpinned by obligations for the four key stakeholder groups, funders, institutions, researchers and managers of researchers, to realise the aims of the Concordat.
