Domestic abuse is categorised by any incident or pattern of incidents of controlling, coercive or threatening behaviour, violence or abuse between those aged 16+ who are or have been intimate partners or family members regardless of gender or sexuality.
This can include, but is not limited to, the following types of abuse:
- physical
- emotional
- psychological
- sexual
- financial.

Report and Support (university)
If you would like to disclose how you have been affected by any form of harassment, including bullying, discrimination, hate incident/crime, and sexual misconduct, you can do so by using our new . This enables you to speak to a specially trained advisor who can advise you on reporting options and support available, so that you can make an informed decision on next steps. - Spectrum.Life provides you with access to counselling support to help you cope and deal more effectively with any personal problems.
University support for staff

Healthy Sex and Relationships Training
We have developed an on healthy sex and relationships which will provide you with training on consent, rape culture and how to tackle it, intimate partner violence and the law on sexual offending.
